Roadie River Rocks

After a bit of an overwhelming afternoon searching for parking at some of the most popular waterfalls in the Pisgah National Forest, we drove by this wanderful sight and had to turn around to explore it! I am soooo glad we did because it ended up being one of the most serene and beautiful spots we saw all day! We were alone for the half hour we ventured around this little swimming hole which allowed us to embrace the energy of this enchanted forest. Plus we found a bunch of river rocks that we skipped along the creek tunneling under the road. It is amazing how sometimes it’s the simple things that are most memorable.
